This amazing display is the best way to add a pretty big, colorful and bright display to your project with Raspberry Pi. The display functions as a standalone monitor and has the necessary control buttons to configure the display and even turn it off/on. The board also integrates a headphone output in the form of a standard 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones or an amplifier. Sound is transmitted via HDMI. The microUSB connector is used for power and touch panel connection. Only one USB cable is needed for both - data and power are supplied via the same cable. However, the module has two microUSB connectors and both allow both power and data. Therefore, an external power supply can be used for power supply. The module also has mounting holes that allow the display to be easily mounted into the structure itself.
