This multi-function meter offers several excellent functions for various measurements and testing of electrical circuits. Its notable features include:

• Auto Power Off: The meter is equipped with an auto power off function, which helps to save battery power.
• Flashlight: has an integrated flashlight that makes it easy to work in dark environments.
• Automatic detection of measurement type + range: The meter can automatically detect the measurement type and suitable range, simplifying the measurement process. It can also be switched to manual mode if needed.
• Power: It uses one 1.5V AAA battery for power (battery not included).
• Supported Measurements: The meter can measure AC and DC voltage, resistance, continuity, diode, capacitance, true RMS, temperature, and also performs phase detection and frequency measurement.
• Color LCD: Features a color LCD display for clear and easy-to-read measurement output.

The differences between Aneng A3007, A3008 and A3009 are the presence or absence of certain functions. The A3007 does not have a phase detection function, while the A3009 also has a voice broadcast function that allows the instrument to loudly announce the selected mode and readings over a speaker (in English). The voice broadcasting function cannot be switched off.

HOLD button:

Additional functions (control button N/L/P):

• Long press of the button: activates the LED light.
• EF mode (Non-contact detection of AC voltage presence - NCV): when the tip of the instrument approaches a live conductor, the instrument visually and audibly indicates the distance from the live conductor.
• Live mode: on contact with a conductor, the instrument indicates the live conductor acoustically and with a red LED, while the neutral conductor is indicated by a green LED.
