The Aneng AN8008 is a compact True RMS digital multimeter with a 9999-count resolution and automatic range selection. It allows you to measure DC and AC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, frequency and duty cycle, as well as perform continuity and diode tests. Thanks to True RMS, it reliably measures non-sinusoidal waveforms, such as those from converters and inverters. It can also generate a square wave signal, making it useful for troubleshooting circuits.

Safety and warnings:

• Always disconnect the test probes from the circuit before turning the rotary switch to a different position.
• Use the A mA input when measuring current; never connect probes to it when measuring voltage — this may cause a short circuit in the measured circuit.
• The device measures capacitance and resistance only on disconnected, discharged components — discharge any charged capacitor before measuring.
• Measurements up to 600 V correspond to category CAT III, and up to 1000 V to category CAT II. Do not exceed these values.
