Aneng DM850 is a pocket digital multimeter with manual range selection and a 3½-digit LCD display. It allows you to measure DC and AC voltage, DC current and resistance, perform continuity tests, test diodes, determine transistor gain (hFE), and check the approximate status of alkaline batteries. Thanks to its compact dimensions and rubber protective boot, it is ideal as a first multimeter for beginner hobbyists or as a backup device for your bag.

Safety and warnings:

• The 10A input is not fuse-protected — do not measure with it for more than 10 seconds at a time and never connect probes to it when measuring voltage.
• The device is rated CAT II 600 V. It is intended for measurements on appliances and in circuits downstream of the electricity meter, not for fixed installations or distribution boards (CAT III / CAT IV).
• Always disconnect the test probes from the circuit before turning the rotary switch to a different mode.
• The multimeter does not measure alternating current, capacitance, frequency, or temperature.
