Product detailed description

BMS protection board for Li-ion and Li-pol cell assemblies 3.7 V in 6S to 10S configuration. It protects the battery from overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent and short circuits, thereby extending its lifespan. The board operates with a common port – both the charger and the load are connected to a single common P− terminal, simplifying integration into e-bikes, scooters, power banks or backup power supplies. The continuous discharge current is 15 A, with protection triggering at 40 A. Each cell is monitored individually via balance leads.

Wiring (Common Port):

  • B+ – main battery positive terminal (positive of the highest cell)
  • B− – main battery negative terminal (negative of the first cell)
  • P− – common negative for both charger and load
  • Balance Connector – connect individual cells sequentially from the battery negative (cell 1) to positive (cell 6–10) according to the markings on the board
  • The positive terminal of both the charger and load is connected directly to B+ – only the negative is routed through the board

Important Notice and Safety:

  • Always choose the variant that exactly matches the number of cells in your battery. The board cannot be reconfigured for a different number of cells.
  • Never use the board for LiFePO4 cells – the voltage levels are set for Li-ion and Li-pol 3.7 V, and LiFePO4 cells would be damaged.
  • Connect the balance leads sequentially starting from cell 1 (closest to the battery minus) – swapping the wires may lead to the destruction of the board or the cells.
  • Before the first connection, check that all cells have approximately the same voltage (difference up to 0.05 V). Do not assemble batteries with cells that have significantly different voltages.
  • Use only a charger with a voltage corresponding to the chosen variant. Higher voltage can cause overcharging, overheating, or even fire.
  • The board does not have temperature protection – ensure sufficient cooling at high currents and do not cover it.
  • Never use damaged, swollen, or mechanically stressed cells.
