The Dupont pin is a male crimp contact for Dupont connectors with a 2.54 mm pitch. Crimp it onto the end of a wire and insert it into the plastic housing of a Dupont connector – this allows you to create your own custom pin-terminated cables, which can be inserted into female headers, breadboards, or connectors equipped with female sockets. This enables you to prepare custom interconnect cables with any length, number of cores, and wire sequence.
