Spectrum FlameGuard ASA 275 Filament is an advanced material designed for use in desktop 3D printers. Based on the proven ASA 275 formula, the FlameGuard version was specially designed to meet strict flame retardancy requirements according to the UL94 V0 classification. This means that the filament or printed parts, when subjected to a vertical burn test, will self-extinguish within 10 seconds without spreading fire.

Like the standard ASA 275 filament, the FlameGuard version features excellent mechanical properties, including increased flexibility, improved flow characteristics, minimal shrinkage, and excellent layer adhesion. It is also easy to print, comparable in this regard to Spectrum Premium PLA, enabling the seamless production of large models without the risk of warping after cooling.

Spectrum FlameGuard ASA 275 is also resistant to UV radiation and varying weather conditions, making it the ideal choice for printing prototypes, production tools, and other parts that require high durability and enhanced fire safety.
