Product detailed description
Module allowing to extend the I2C bus over longer distances. Bus capacity can be max. 400pF per side. The maximum bus length will therefore depend on the specific characteristics of the interconnecting cables. The module can also be used as a bus voltage level converter. For example, one bus 5V and the other 3.3V. The module has all pins 5V tolerant and it does not matter which side of the module will be connected to the bus with higher voltage and which with lower voltage.

Toto zapojení je poněkud nešťastné. Rezistory R4 a R5 nemohou být umístěny na této desce a musí být až na vzdáleném místě těsně u slave (například u čidla teploty). Navíc čidla od LaskaKitu většinou tyto rezistory na desce čidel již obsahují. Taktéž rezistory R1 a R2 by tam neměly být, protože pokud budu chtít připojit 3 tyto desky paralelně (vyjma vstupů EN, kterými je budu aktivovat z procesoru), budou tyto rezistory (3x paralelně) zbytečně zatěžovat sběrnici. Lepší by bylo, kdyby toto zapojení rezistory vůbec neobsahovalo. Takže mi nezbylo nic jiného, než všechny rezistory odpájet.
