The KR601E waterproof RFID reader is used for access control to facilities using an RFID card or key fob. It reads 125 kHz cards and transmits the read card number via a Wiegand 26-bit interface, allowing it to be connected to a standard access control panel or controller. Audio and visual signalling can be controlled by a master controller. Thanks to the IP65 rating, it can also be mounted outdoors.

WARNING! The reader is very difficult to disassemble after assembly due to its construction! It is recommended to complete the reader after it is fully debugged. So it is not a defect, but a specific design of the reader.
