Product detailed description

A Few Years Used at Maker Faire.

A small, design-led development board that has been designed primarily for lowest power consumption and convenient programming. This is the ESPink Shelf 213, a board equipped with a 2.9" ePaper GDEY029T94

And how did we achieve such low, 12.5 uA, power consumption? ESP32 is a powerful chip that allows to connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but in addition it is very energy efficient, about 5 uA, even in deep-sleep mode.

the ePaper consumes power especially when rewriting the data on the display, but every uA counts so we added a MOSFET on the power supply to de-energize the ePaper when it is not updated.

The board supports the popular Live Image project which greatly simplifies the use of the ePaper display to display photos, (google, outlook, apple) calendar, odds, weather station readings, weather forecasts and much more. There is no need to write code, just upload the correct ePaper and board type through the web environment and follow the procedure described in the documentation.
You can upload the program via the web interface on this page and just select the board LaskaKit ESPink 2.x and the ePaper type GDEY029T94

But we don't stop there - there is also oSup connector, this is a 4 pin connector to which we have a wealth of accessories and has a standard size and pinout. 3.3V power supply, GND and I2C bus. Accessories include cables of various lengths terminated with a wall connector, cables terminated with dupont sleeves or cables terminated with hooks for fast and reliable testing.

The I2C connector power supply can also be de-energized just like the ePaper - the MOSFET switches are GPIO2 control.
