LaskaKit MeteoPlaneRadar is a kit featuring a circular touch WiFi display that shows flight radar, animated weather radar, weather forecasts, spot electricity prices, and the energy mix all in one place. The foundation is the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-2.1 development board with a powerful ESP32-S3 chip – simply insert it into a 3D printed case, connect to WiFi, and upload the ready-made open-source firmware within seconds. You can switch between individual screens using gestures directly on the display, or conveniently via the web interface, with all updates performed wirelessly (OTA) without the need for a cable.

The product is available in multiple variants:

• 1️⃣ Case – choose the colour of the 3D printed case, or the Print it myself option
• 2️⃣ Assembly – decide whether you want the product delivered as a kit (DIY) or fully assembled and programmed:
  • Assemble it myself – firmware is not uploaded, you will upload it yourself using the web tool (it only takes a few dozen seconds)
  • I want it assembled – we will assemble the device and upload the firmware; you only need to connect it to WiFi

  • Clock with current weather, temperature, wind, and an animated second ring
  • Flight Radar – data from adsb.fi, colour coding by flight level, flight route detail
  • Weather Radar – animated precipitation sequence from CHMI (CZ) and RainViewer (global) data
  • Weather forecast, air quality, and pollen situation
  • Spot electricity price (OTE) on a clear dial
  • Energy mix – current share of individual electricity production sources in the CZ
  • Settings – brightness, display orientation, units
• Firmware: open-source, MIT licence, upload without the need for programming via a web tool, OTA updates via WiFi (pre-uploaded only for the I want it assembled variant)
• Configuration: web interface available at meteoplaneradar.local (location, aircraft filters, appearance, system)
