The magnetic base with a coaxial cable allows you to place an antenna with an N-type connector outside the device – on a car bonnet, a metal roof, a distribution board, or any other steel surface. Simply screw the antenna into the N-type connector on the base and connect the other end of the cable, featuring an SMA connector, to your module, gateway, or router. The base is equipped with a high-quality, low-loss 3D-FB cable and pure copper connectors, ensuring that signal loss remains low even over a distance of three metres. It is ideal for any application where you need to move the antenna outside of an enclosure to achieve a better signal – typically for LoRa/LoRaWAN, GSM/LTE, NB-IoT, or Wi-Fi.
