Signal converter from 4-20mA to V
Code: LA161027

Product detailed description
The XY-IT0V converter converts a current signal from an industrial 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA loop into a 0-10 V voltage signal, which can be processed by a standard ADC converter, microcontroller, or PLC. Current loops are resistant to loss and interference over long cables, which is why they are used by most industrial pressure, temperature, and level sensors. The module features adjustable zero (ZERO) and span (SPAN) settings, allowing you to precisely match the output to the input of your electronics.
Specifications:
- Module designation: XY-IT0V
- Power supply: 7-35 V DC (minimum 12 V for 0-10 V output)
- Input signal: 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA
- Output signal: 0-2.5 V / 0-3.3 V / 0-5 V / 0-10 V (depending on J1 jumper and SPAN trimmer settings)
- Adjustment:
- ZERO: trimmer for zero adjustment (minimum output)
- SPAN: trimmer for full-scale adjustment (maximum output)
- J1: jumper for selecting the output range
- Protection: reverse polarity protection
- Indication: LED power indication
- Dimensions: 33 × 25 mm
- Weight: 8 g
Setting the output range via jumper J1:
Jumper J1 selects the converter gain, and the exact output value can then be fine-tuned using the SPAN trimmer. A single jumper setting can therefore cover the entire interval within which the full scale can be continuously adjusted.
- Input 4-20 mA:
- Output 0-2.5 V to 0-5 V: pins 1-2 connected, pins 3-4 connected
- Output 0-3.3 V: pins 1-2 disconnected, pins 3-4 disconnected
- 0-10 V Output: pins 1-2 connected, pins 3-4 disconnected
- Input 0-20 mA:
- Output 0-3.3 V to 0-5 V: pins 1-2 connected, pins 3-4 connected
- 0-10 V Output: pins 1-2 connected, pins 3-4 disconnected
The fourth combination (pins 1-2 disconnected, pins 3-4 connected) is not specified by the manufacturer and is not used.
Calibration procedure:
- Set jumper J1 according to the required output range and connect the power supply. The indicator LED will light up — if not, check the wiring.
- Apply the minimum current (0 mA or 4 mA) to the input and set the minimum output voltage using the ZERO trimmer.
- Apply the maximum current (20 mA) to the input and set the required maximum output voltage using the SPAN trimmer.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary — the settings slightly affect each other.
Package contents:
- 1× 4-20 mA to Voltage Signal Converter (XY-IT0V)
Note:
- The converter cannot power the connected sensor from the current loop. The connected sensor must be powered separately.
- The module is not galvanically isolated — the input and output share a common ground.
- This product is not a standalone functional unit and may require professional installation.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may sometimes differ from the actual appearance of the item. However, this does not change their basic properties.
