Need a drive for your project where you need to control something precisely? Then you'll need servo motorsthat are used, for example, in RC models cars or airplanes. A servo motor is a rotary or linear actuatorthat allows precise angular adjustment or linear position and control speed , possibly acceleration. It consists of a suitable motor coupled to a position feedback sensor . Very often, the engine output is equipped with a gearbox . Arduino has a ready-made library that allows the board to control servo motors (servos). The Arduino servo library supports up to 12 motors on most Arduino and Arduino Megaboards.
