Thanks to its suitability for autoclaving, dry heat sterilisation, and chemical sterilisation with ethylene oxide or formalin, it is ideal for laboratory, medical, and food-grade applications. The material is flexible, health-safe, and resistant to ageing. The tubing is suitable for peristaltic pumps, aquariums, model making, and hobby projects.
