Product detailed description

Compact step-down (buck) DC-DC converter designed to reduce voltage from the 9–16 V range to a fixed stabilized output voltage. The module is mounted on an aluminum PCB for better heat dissipation and allows a high output current of up to 10 A. Thanks to its small dimensions and wide temperature range, it is suitable for automotive applications, embedded electronics, and demanding DIY projects.

Our Testing

During our testing, the module behaved as follows:

• Without a heatsink, it reached a temperature of 79°C at 8A consumption
• With a heatsink, it reached a temperature of 76°C at 10A consumption

For this reason, for consumption exceeding 8A, we recommend using a heatsink.
