The HY-SRF05 is a precise ultrasonic distance sensor that uses the reflection of ultrasonic waves to detect the distance of obstacles ranging from 2 cm to 400 cm. Compared to the popular HC-SR04 model, it offers better accuracy and an extended operating mode with a fifth pin (OUT), making it an ideal choice for more advanced applications in robotics, distance measurement, obstacle detection or automation. The module is compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other microcontrollers.
