The HKL-USB57 mains charger with a power output of up to 20 W charges phones, tablets or other USB-powered devices using USB Power Delivery 3.0 or Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. It features two outputs: USB-C with the PD protocol and USB-A with the QC 3.0 protocol. The charger negotiates the voltage of 5 V, 9 V or 12 V with the connected device. It works with iPhones from the 8 series upwards (fast charging via USB-C to Lightning or USB-C to USB-C cable), Android phones and small USB-C powered devices. Thanks to the 9 V and 12 V output via PD, you can also use it as a compact power supply for your own DIY projects with a cable or PD trigger module.

Important usage notice:

• The USB-C output provides only 5 V without negotiation. It switches to 9 V or 12 V only when requested by the connected device or PD trigger module via the Power Delivery protocol. A basic cable without a PD chip will always receive 5 V.
• Charge Samsung phones via the USB-C port using a USB-C to USB-C cable to achieve fast charging via PD. Samsung (AFC protocol) may not recognise the USB-A port with QC 3.0, resulting in standard charging only. This charger does not support the Super Fast Charging function (PPS, 25 W and above).
• A 20 W power output is sufficient for phones, tablets, and small USB-C devices. Standard laptops require 45–65 W or more and will only charge slowly, or not at all.
