The E13 waterproof panel socket allows convenient access to a nanoSIM or microSD card from outside the device without the need to open the enclosure. The socket is rear-mounted into a round hole in the panel using a 13/16"-28 UNS (E13) thread and is sealed with an O-ring and epoxy potting, achieving an IP67 rating once the cap is closed. Inside the device, it connects via an ultra-flexible flat FPC cable terminated with a card-shaped adapter that simply slides into the device's original slot. An ideal solution for outdoor IoT devices, LTE routers, cameras, data loggers, or weather stations where changing a SIM or memory card without disassembly is required.
