The ISD1820 sound recorder is a compact module designed for simple recording and playback of voice or audio messages. Thanks to the integrated microphone and the option to connect a speaker, it allows for immediate use without the need for complex wiring. The module can be controlled via buttons directly on the board or through TTL signals from a microcontroller (Arduino etc.), making it an ideal solution for projects such as voice announcements, alarms, or interactive devices.

Instructions:

• Button or REC pin-When the REC button is pressed or the REC pin is high (log.1), the circuit records audio until the button or log.0 level is released or the memory is full. In this mode, the red LED is lit.
• PLAYE button or pin P-E- Pressing the PLAYE button or a short-term high level on pin P-E will play the entire message
• PLAYL button or pin P-L- The message will only be played while this button is pressed or high level on pin P-L
• F-T (Feed-thru) Connector - If connected, the feed-thru is also connected during recording
