Omnifixo OF-M4.4 is a magnetic "third hand" designed for soldering, electronics repair, model making, and other precision work. The set consists of a metal base plate and four independent ball-joint clips on magnetic feet, which can be freely moved and rotated across the plate. The clips hold PCBs, wires, or small parts precisely in the required position – from a low working height under a microscope to tilted or vertical clamping. After work, everything is stored in the included box, which can also be used as a vertical stand for the base plate.

• Pin hole: in the neck of the upper jaw, for a pin or wire with a maximum diameter of 1 mm
• Joint stiffness: ensured by a rubber (TPU) insert in the centre of the magnet; it can be restored (see tips below)
• Box: made of recycled ABS, featuring slots for vertical mounting of the base plate and for inserting dividers (slot spacing 80, 89 and 159 mm, height 10 mm)
• Suitable for: PCBs, wires, connectors and small lightweight parts

Tips and warnings:

• If the joint loosens over time, clean both the rubber insert and the ball with soapy water and dry them. Alternatively, gently press the insert from the bottom of the magnet's centre hole using a blunt non-magnetic pin (e.g. a matchstick) until the friction is appropriate.
• When soldering wires or heat-sensitive parts, it is better to remove the silicone sleeves from the jaws – the metal jaws will then dissipate heat from the part more effectively.
• Strong magnets attract small SMD components and wire clippings, and may gradually magnetise tools. The easiest way to remove metal particles from the magnet is by using adhesive tape.
• Do not heat the magnetic feet (e.g. in a reflow oven) – the ABS plastic will melt and the magnets will lose their magnetism.
• This is not a toy – it contains small parts and strong magnets; keep out of reach of small children.
