This amazing monitor is the best way to add a large, colorful and bright display to your project with Raspberry Pi. The microUSB connector is used for power and touch panel connection. Only one USB cable is needed for both - data and power are supplied via the same cable. However, the module has two microUSB connectors where one connector allows both power and data and the other is only for power connection. Therefore, an external power supply can be used for power supply. The display is encapsulated in a handy box with the option of a support leg so it can be left freestanding, or you can use the mounting threads on the back to attach your own bracket, or you can use the hole to hang it on the wall. The monitor controls are also located at the rear.
