The LDS02RR adapter is used to connect the LDS02RR rotary LiDAR (Xiaomi Mijia) to an ESP32, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi microcontroller. The LDS02RR does not have an integrated motor controller, so it requires an external PWM signal for startup and speed regulation – the adapter routes this signal, along with the data output and power supply, from a 4-pin JST GH 1.25 mm connector to the included interconnect cable with Dupont leads, which can be plugged into a breadboard or directly into the microcontroller pins. This is open-source hardware based on the original design by Maker's Pet (makerspet.com), revision v0.3.0, manufactured without modification according to publicly available documentation.
