Ai-Thinker ESP-14 ESP8266 WIFI module
Code: DD100016

Product detailed description
Ai-Thinker ESP-14 ESP8266 WIFI module, TCP/IP
Used ESP8266 chip plus STM8003 microcontroller which you may/may not use. If you use it, you don't need to Arduino connect at all. This board has STM8003 microcontroller! The challenge is here! Connect a digital thermometer/humidity meter to this board, set up WIFI as a DHCP client and view the temperature on your mobile phone, computer or anywhere on the internet! The ESP8266 chip used is a highly integrated chip designed to meet the needs of the new connected world. It offers a complete and comprehensive WIFI network solution, allowing you to either host an application or use all the network functions from another wireless implementation. Wireless WIFI thermometer? Single minded!

Notice:
This module requires a 3.3V supply for VCC and 3.3V logic. Not 5V tolerant. Connecting RX or TX to 5V Arduino will destroy this module! You must use a logic level converter, or Arduino to 3.3V. This is a powerful version of WIFI with good throughput through the environment. At peak times the power consumption can be quite high. It needs at least 200mA. The 3.3V supply on the Arduino Uno is not sufficient to power this module. You must provide separately.
Remark:
This product is not a standalone functional unit and may require professional installation.
