Wireless module E01-2G4M27D, nRF24L01+ 2.4GHz Long Range
Code: LA162065

Product detailed description
The Ebyte E01-2G4M27D wireless module, featuring a Nordic nRF24L01P chip and power amplifier (PA + LNA), achieves a transmission power of up to 500 mW (27 dBm) and a range of up to 5 km in open terrain. The integrated low-noise amplifier simultaneously increases the receiver sensitivity up to −99 dBm, making it beneficial to use on both the transmitting and receiving ends. The module operates in the 2.4 GHz band, communicates with the microcontroller via SPI, and has the same pinout as standard nRF24L01+ modules, ensuring compatibility with standard libraries for Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It can be powered by either 3.3 V or 5 V, although the logic levels are 3.3 V. This is not a WiFi module – it only communicates with other nRF24L01+ modules.

Package contents:
- 1× Ebyte E01-2G4M27D wireless module (without antenna)
Note:
- In the EU, the maximum permitted radiated power (EIRP) for the 2.4 GHz band is 100 mW (20 dBm). Full power of 27 dBm exceeds this limit; therefore, reduce the transmission power in the software so that the power, including antenna gain, does not exceed 20 dBm. Compliance with the limit is the responsibility of the user. A module with power within the EU limit is the Ebyte E01-ML01DP5 (100 mW).
- The antenna is not included. Never operate the module in transmission mode without a connected antenna, as this may damage the amplifier.
- During transmission, the module draws peak currents of up to 500 mA. Power it from a sufficiently rated source (the 3.3V output of Arduino and ESP development boards is insufficient) and connect a 100–470 µF capacitor as close as possible to the VCC and GND pins.
- When powering with 5 V and connecting to a 5V microcontroller (e.g. Arduino Uno), use a logic level converter.
- Even in sleep mode, current consumption does not drop below approx. 0.5 mA (powered amplifier) – keep this in mind for battery-powered applications, or alternatively, disconnect power to the module.
- This product is not a standalone functional unit and may require professional installation.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may sometimes differ from the actual appearance of the item. However, this does not change their basic properties.
