Product detailed description
GA12-N20 is a compact DC motor with an all-metal gearbox for a nominal voltage of 12 V, featuring an M4 threaded rod 55 mm in length instead of a smooth shaft. The rotation of the rod can be converted into linear motion using a nut or slide, transforming the motor into a simple linear drive without further mechanics – ideal for small shifts and lifts, dispensers, opening covers and ventilation flaps, adjusting positions in models, or camera sliders. You can choose from six variants with no-load speeds from 60 to 1000 RPM; lower speeds provide higher pushing force, while higher speeds ensure faster travel. The 12 V power supply is ideal for applications where a twelve-volt distribution is already available – such as in a car, a model, or a cabinet with an industrial power supply – and provides higher torque than the six-volt version.

Package contents:
- 1× GA12-N20 12V motor with gearbox and M4×55 mm threaded rod (according to the selected RPM variant)
Note:
- Nuts, sliders, or guides are not included – add the sliding part according to your design.
- Control the motor via an H-bridge or transistor; never connect it directly to a microcontroller output.
- The stated speeds apply to no-load conditions; they decrease under load while current consumption increases.
- The lead screw is not a ball screw – travel has higher friction and lower efficiency, take this into account when designing the load.
- Do not subject the rod to bending loads or apply axial pressure – axial shocks will damage the gearbox gearing.
- Do not exceed the rated voltage; higher voltage shortens the lifespan of both the gearbox and the brushes.
- This product is not a standalone functional unit and may require professional installation.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may sometimes differ from the actual appearance of the item. However, this does not change their basic properties.
