    GDEP073E01 7.3-inch colour e-paper display

    The GDEP073E01 is a 7.3-inch reflective colour e-paper panel built on E Ink Spectra 6 technology, so it can show six colours — black, white, red, yellow, green and blue — with no backlight. Like all e-paper it is bistable: once an image is drawn it stays on screen without power. This is a bare panel with a 50-pin FPC and an SPI interface, meant to be driven by an external controller.

    Notes

    Note: This panel refreshes the whole screen at once (colour e-paper has no partial-refresh mode) and can develop ghosting or image sticking if a picture is left on it too long. Refresh it at least once every 24 hours, and store it showing a white image, to keep the display clean.
    • E-Paper displays are very fragile. Please handle the display according to our manipulation guide to ensure you don't damage the display. Displays damaged by improper handling are not covered by warranty.
    • This item is not a functional end product and may require professional assembly

    Mám hodiny s CrowPanel ESP32 4.2inch E-Paper více než jeden rok. Používám jen částečné obnovení displaye, žádné plné obnovení. Nikde jsem nezaznamenal žádné poškození displeje. Čas se obnovuje každou minutu.

    K tomuto displeji jak na stránkách výrobce v dokumentu "E Ink Spectra 6 (E6) design notice", tak i v datasheetu píší, že ~je nutné~ displej obnovit každých 24 hodin, jinak může dojít k NEVRATNÉMU vypálení obrazu. Jestli je to skutečně problém netuším, nechci to sám zkoušet :) Možná by ale nebylo špatné sem dát nějaké varování.

    Zdravím!. To se tyká každého E-Paper displeje. přidáno do popisu. Díky

    Poskladal jsem si z tohoto displeje fotoramecek s nahodnym stridanim fotografii, byl to moc hezky bastlici projekt :) Pro inspiraci jsem vse popsal na svem githubu (s kompletnim kodem), pokud by to nekdo chtel take zkusit: https://github.com/protivinsky/photoink Zacal jsem jiz s predchozi verzi displeje GDEY073D46, ktery umel navic zobrazit i oranzovou (dnes jiz ale neni dostupna). Nicmene vse funguje prakticky stejne i s timto novejsim displejem.
