Product detailed description

Good Display GDEY0213F52 electronic paper display with a 2.13" diagonal, 250×122 pixel resolution, SPI interface, and 4-colour capability – black, white, yellow, and red. This is a new version that replaces the previous GDEY0213F51 model and offers faster redraw times (full refresh 16 s, fast refresh 11 s). The image you display lasts indefinitely without power – simply show the image and then turn off the power; the content will remain on the display. The display is therefore ideal for low-power devices powered by solar sources or batteries.

The same code used for the previous GDEY0213F51 version works for the GDEY0213F52, allowing you to use existing projects without changes.

E-Ink (or E-Paper) is a so-called electrophoretic display, i.e., a display containing particles in microcapsules dispersed in a thin layer of viscous solution. By applying a short pulse, the particles move towards the front of the display and the pixel changes colour. The high viscosity of the solution causes the particles to remain in their position practically permanently.
