GP2Y0A21YK0F is an analog infrared distance sensor from Sharp with a measuring range of 10 to 80 cm. The sensor uses a triangulation method – it emits an IR beam and calculates the object's distance from the reflection angle. The result is available as an analog voltage on the output pin, so a standard microcontroller ADC input is sufficient for reading the value. It is suitable for obstacle detection, robotics, non-contact distance measurement, or automation projects with Arduino or ESP32.
