Product detailed description

The Universal Timer Module DRM01 switches the connected load according to a set time program. It offers eight operating modes – from simple delayed switching on or off, through infinite cycles, to bistable and level control via an external signal. The times and selected function are set via four buttons and clearly displayed on the LED screen; settings remain stored even after power is disconnected. Thanks to a switching relay with a load capacity of 10 A, the module can switch lighting, fans, pumps, solenoid valves, or heating elements.

Terminal block wiring:

• DC+: module power supply +12 V
• DC−: module power supply GND
• X1: trigger input – high signal level
• COM: common relay contact – where the switched voltage is applied
• NO: normally open contact – connected to COM when the relay is activated
• NC: normally closed contact – connected to COM when the relay is inactive

Adjustment:

If the module is not in setup mode, the display and indicator LEDs will turn off after approximately 10 seconds. The module remains active and executes the configured function; only the relay status LED remains lit. You can view the current status by briefly pressing the SET button – the display and indicator LEDs will light up for another 10 seconds.

Entering setup mode: if the display is off, first press the SET button briefly and then press and hold it. If the display is lit, a long press is sufficient. The value on the display will flash, and the module will be in configuration mode.

Setup procedure:

• Briefly press SET to switch between the adjustable values; the currently selected option is indicated by a lit LED:
  • MD: function number (1–8)
  • T1: time 1
  • T2: time 2
  • NX: number of repetitions
• Use the SW1 button to select the digit to be edited – it will flash on the display.
• Use the + and − buttons to change the value of the selected digit.
• Press and hold SET to save the settings and exit the configuration. The module will then immediately begin executing the selected function.

Description of functions:

1. Delayed turn-on: the relay is open upon power-up. After time T1 expires, it closes and remains closed.
2. Delayed turn-off: the relay is closed upon power-up. After time T1 expires, it opens and remains open.
3. Infinite cycle 1: the relay is open upon power-up. After time T1 expires, it closes, then opens after time T2 expires, and the cycle repeats indefinitely.
4. Infinite cycle 2: the relay is closed upon power-up. After time T1 expires, it opens, then closes after time T2 expires, and the cycle repeats indefinitely.
5. Bistable (Latching) Mode: each positive pulse at input X1 toggles the relay state – the first pulse switches it on, the next switches it off.
6. Level-Triggered Mode: the relay remains switched on as long as there is a high signal level at input X1, and switches off once the signal ends.
7. Limited Cycle 1: identical behaviour to function 3, but the cycle repeats only for a selected number of times (NX 1–9999). T1 and T2 times can be set in the range of 1 s to 9999 s.
8. Limited Cycle 2: identical behaviour to function 4, but the cycle repeats only for a selected number of times (NX 1–9999). T1 and T2 times can be set in the range of 1 s to 9999 s.
