Programmable time switch with MOSFET output and LED display, 5-30VDC 15A
Code: LA143123

Product detailed description
This programmable timer module with a pair of MOSFET power transistors switches DC loads from 5–30 V up to 15 A according to a configured time schedule. It offers seven operating modes: single trigger for a set duration, delayed trigger, repeated cycle with an adjustable number of repetitions, or output hold for the duration of the signal. It is triggered either by a positive pulse at the optically isolated input or automatically upon power connection. Times are adjustable via four buttons from 0.1 s up to 999 minutes and are displayed on a three-digit LED screen. Settings remain stored even after the power supply is disconnected. Unlike a relay, it switches silently, without sparking and without mechanical wear, making it suitable for high-frequency switching. It is suitable for switching motors, lamps, LED strips, small pumps, fans or solenoid valves powered by a DC source.

- Control: 4 buttons (STOP, SET, UP, DOWN)
- Indication: MOSFET switching LED, decimal point on display when output is active
- Number of modes: 7 (P1.1, P1.2, P1.3, P-2, P3.1, P3.2, P-4)
- Adjustable parameters (common for all modes):
- OP: on-time
- CL: off-time
- LOP: number of cycles 1–999, or “---” for infinite cycle
- Time ranges (according to the position of the decimal point):
- XXX.: 1–999 s
- XX.X: 0.1–99.9 s
- X.X.X.: 1–999 min
- Terminal block: screw, 5.08 mm pitch
- Operating temperature: −40 °C to +85 °C
- Dimensions:
- Module: approx. 60 × 34 × 12 mm
- Mounting holes: 4× Ø 3.1 mm, pitch 54 × 28 mm
Terminal block wiring:
- VIN: module power supply + (5–30 V)
- GND: module power supply −
- OUT+: load positive pole (internally connected to VIN)
- OUT−: negative load terminal (switched by MOSFETs to GND)
- SIGN: trigger input – positive signal 3–24 V
- GND_T: trigger signal ground
Control and settings:
- Upon power-up: the display briefly shows the current mode (default P1.1) and then switches to the main screen. It displays "000" without a decimal point when the output is off, and with a dot when it is on.
- Mode selection: hold SET for approx. 2 s, use the UP / DOWN buttons to select a mode from P1.1 to P-4, and press SET briefly to enter parameter settings.
- Parameter settings: the parameter being adjusted (OP, CL, LOP) flashes. Change the value using the UP / DOWN buttons; holding the button changes the value rapidly. Press STOP briefly to move the decimal point, thereby selecting the time range (e.g. for 3.2 s, set the dot to the tens place; the display will show 03.2). Press SET briefly to move to the next parameter.
- Save: hold SET for approx. 2 s – the mode will flash briefly, the settings will be saved, and the module will return to the main screen.
- Settings check: a short press of SET on the main screen will sequentially display the parameters used in the current mode.
- Emergency shutdown: a short press of STOP turns off and locks the output (ON/OFF); another press will enable it again.
- Power-saving mode: hold STOP for approx. 2 s to switch between a permanently illuminated display (O-d) and automatic shut-off after 5 minutes of inactivity (C-P). Timing continues to run in the background; the display can be woken up by pressing any button.
Mode descriptions:
- P1.1 – single trigger: after the trigger signal, the output switches on for duration OP, then switches off. The module ignores further signals during the OP period.
- P1.2 – Triggered switching with restart: Same as P1.1, but a new signal during OP restarts the OP time countdown from the beginning.
- P1.3 – switching with interrupt: same as P1.1, but a new signal during OP immediately turns off the output and stops the countdown.
- P-2 – delayed switching: after the trigger signal, it waits for duration CL, then switches the output on for duration OP before turning off.
- P3.1 – Triggered cycle: after a trigger signal, it alternates between ON (OP) and OFF (CL) for the number of LOP cycles. A new signal during operation will turn off the output and stop the cycle.
- P3.2 – automatic cycle: without a trigger signal, it begins alternating between on (OP) and off (CL) for the number of LOP cycles once power is connected.
- P-4 – signal hold: the output remains on for the entire duration of the trigger signal. After the signal ends, it remains switched on for the duration of OP and then turns off. A new signal during the countdown resets it.
Package contents:
- 1× programmable timer with MOSFET output and LED display 5–30 V / 15 A
Note:
- The module switches DC voltage only and is not intended for switching 230 V AC mains voltage. Ensure sufficient cooling for the MOSFETs under a continuous load exceeding approx. 10 A.
- The OUT+ and VIN terminals are connected on the board. Never connect the GND and OUT− terminals – the load would be permanently energised and could not be controlled.
- This product is not a standalone functional unit and may require professional installation.
