The TJ-56-180 3D Christmas Tree Kit is a soldering set for assembling a spatial tree featuring 36 flashing LEDs and an additional LED at the top. The tree consists of two tree-shaped PCBs that slot together perpendicularly and are soldered to the base board. Each half operates a ring astable multivibrator with three transistors, which alternately lights up three groups of red, green, and yellow LEDs. Because the LEDs are mixed around the perimeter of the tree, it creates a chasing light effect. It is powered by 5V via micro USB, and the 'with cover' variant includes a transparent acrylic cover that protects the tree from dust. The kit contains only through-hole (THT) components, making it suitable for beginners, and once assembled, it serves as a Christmas table decoration.

Assembly tips:

• Populate starting with the lowest components: resistors first, then capacitors, transistors, and finally LEDs.
• Observe the polarity. For the electrolytic capacitor, the longer lead is positive, for the LED, the shorter lead is the cathode (−), and for the S9014 transistor, the flat side must match the marking.
• Install the LEDs according to their colours (red D1–D6, green D7–D12, yellow D13–D18), leave the leads approximately 6 mm long, and bend the LEDs parallel to the board. Solder briefly to avoid overheating the LEDs.
• Fully populate both halves of the tree first, then slide them crosswise into each other and mount them onto the base board. Before soldering, verify that the "+" and "−" marks on both halves align with the base board.
• Solder the top LED (D19) last and test the tree before assembling the cover.
