WH-SP-WD Wind direction sensor
Wind direction sensor working on mechanical principle. The sensor has eight magnetic switches and each switch is connected to a resistor with a different value. The blade magnet can switch two switches simultaneously, allowing up to 16 different positions to be indicated. An external resistor can be used to create a voltage divider to generate an output voltage that can be measured by an A/D converter. It can be used as a stand-alone sensor or in conjunction with the WH-SP-WS01 wind speed sensor, for which it has a specially fitted connector. Furthermore, both sensors are routed through one cable. This sensor can be used as a spare part for the MI-SOL WH2081 weather station.
