Product detailed description
The telescopic test hook with a 4mm banana socket attaches to a measuring cable, transforming it into a secure grip for component leads. Pressing the rear section extends a thin spring hook. You can hook it onto an integrated circuit pin, an SMD component lead, a wire, or a solder joint, and it holds firmly in place once released. This keeps your hands free and eliminates the risk of the tip slipping and short-circuiting adjacent pins. It is ideal for measurements with a multimeter, oscilloscope, or laboratory power supply, as well as for debugging and repairing printed circuit boards. The hook is protected by a PA66 insulating body, and a large collar at the socket keeps fingers away from the measurement point.
