ChargerLAB POWER-Z SINK240 is a trigger module that lets you get the exact voltage you need from any USB-C charger. The module negotiates power with the charger according to the USB PD standard and outputs 5, 9, 12, 15, 20, 28, 36 or 48 V – including EPR profiles up to 240 W, which older triggers cannot handle. Switching is handled by a single button, and the currently negotiated profile is indicated by eleven LEDs. It is ideal as a power source for your projects, powering up prototypes, or testing chargers and power banks – and thanks to PPS support, you can also verify smooth voltage adjustment in small increments.

How to use:

• Connect the module to the charger using a USB-C cable. Upon connection, it always negotiates 5 V and the first LED lights up.
• Each press of the button moves you to the next profile offered by the power source – the LEDs will show you which voltage you are currently on.
• The module will skip any profiles that your charger does not support. This allows you to quickly discover what the power source is truly capable of.
• After disconnecting and reconnecting, the module starts again at 5 V; settings are not saved.

Negotiated EPR 48V profile under full load: 47.1V, 5.0A, resulting in 235.6W output.

Note:

• The module only negotiates the voltage; it does not regulate it or limit the current itself. The load must be able to safely withstand the selected voltage – verify the set profile before connecting your device, otherwise you may destroy it.
• Profiles above 20 V (EPR 28 / 36 / 48 V) require a charger with PD 3.1 EPR support and a cable rated for 240 W/5 A with an eMarker chip. Higher profiles cannot be negotiated using a standard cable up to 100 W.
• The LED for AVS mode is populated on the board, but this mode is not yet functional.
• This product is not a standalone functional unit and may require professional installation.
