Product detailed description

The Good Display GDEP133C02 electronic paper display features a 13.3" diagonal, a resolution of 1600×1200 pixels, a QSPI interface and E Ink Spectra 6 technology, which displays six colours – black, white, red, yellow, green and blue. Thanks to its large area, 150 PPI density and a viewing angle of nearly 180°, it is suitable for digital signage and photo frames, information and advertising boards, or meeting room labels. The matte surface reduces glare, ensuring the image remains clearly legible even in direct light. The displayed image lasts indefinitely without power – the display consumes energy only during refreshing, making it ideal for battery-powered devices or solar panels.

To connect via QSPI, you will need the Good Display ESP32-133C02 development board (not included).

E-Ink (or E-Paper) is a so-called electrophoretic display, i.e., a display containing coloured particles in microcapsules dispersed in a thin layer of viscous solution. By applying short pulses, the particles move to the front of the display and the pixel changes colour. The high viscosity of the solution causes the particles to remain in their position practically permanently.
