The Tropic Square TS1501 is a powerful security shield for Raspberry Pi based on the TROPIC01A chip – a transparent and auditable cryptographic coprocessor. This module enables easy integration of hardware security into projects built on Raspberry Pi, with support for encrypted communication, secure key storage, digital signatures and identity verification. An ideal solution for developing devices with a focus on trustworthy computing, authentication or HW wallets.

• Main chip: TROPIC01A – security chip designed with a focus on transparency and auditability
• Memory functions:
  • 32 slots for ECC keys (P-256, Ed25519)
  • 512 slots for user data (476 B effective)
  • 16 monotonic counters (32-bit)
  • Integrated X.509 certificate signed by Tropic Square
• Encryption and authentication: ISAP (Keccak), AES-GCM, SHA256, SHA512, TMAC, supports Noise KK1 protocol
• Security features:
  • PUF – unique chip fingerprint
  • Two independent TRNG generators
  • Sensors against glitches, EM/laser attacks, active shield
